Our Wedding

ㅤ♡ A UVA graduate from Farmville, Virginia, working in finance, and a VCU graduate from Chesapeake, Virginia, working as a registered nurse, found their way to each other in 2022... through a dating app, as many modern love stories do. What started with a first date at a favorite local Mexican spot in Richmond quickly became something neither of us expected, but both of us felt.ㅤ♡ Over the past three years, we’ve grown not just as individuals, but as partners. We’ve stood beside one another through long days, big career milestones, quiet victories, and uncertain moments — including Thomas’s steadfast commitment to his morning newspaper ritual and crossword puzzles (and his occasional deep dives into finance talk that may or may not leave Alex slightly glassy-eyed), and Alex’s long nursing shifts, early morning workouts, and ongoing campaign to convince Thomas that one more cat would truly complete our family.ㅤ♡ Through every season, we’ve chosen each other. In the ordinary moments and the hard ones, we’ve found comfort, laughter, and a deep sense of home in one another. We are endlessly grateful for this life we’ve built and can’t wait to continue it together, hand in hand.
