From First Date to Forever

𝜗ৎ Like many modern love stories, ours started with a dating app in 2022. Alex, a Virginia Beach native, VCU graduate, and Neuro ICU nurse, matched with Thomas, a UVA graduate from Farmville who works as a financial advisor. One first date at our favorite local Mexican restaurant in Richmond was all it took, we instantly clicked, and the rest is history!!

𝜗ৎ Over the past three years, we’ve built a life full of adventure, laughter, and countless little moments that have become our favorite memories. We’ve celebrated career milestones, survived long workdays, tackled home projects, welcomed two very spoiled rescue cats, and discovered that the best days are usually the ordinary ones spent together.

𝜗ৎ We’ve also learned each other’s quirks along the way. Thomas never misses his morning newspaper or crossword puzzle and can happily spend hours talking about the markets, while Alex thrives in the fast-paced world of the Neuro ICU, loves an early morning workout, and is always trying to convince Thomas that their house has room for “just one more” rescue cat (the jury’s still out!).

𝜗ৎ No matter what life has brought our way, the exciting moments, the challenging ones, and everything in between...we’ve always found our way back to each other. We’ve learned that home isn’t a place; it’s simply being together.

𝜗ৎ We feel incredibly lucky for the life we’ve built and are beyond excited to celebrate the beginning of our next chapter with all of our favorite people on September 12, 2026. Thank you for being part of our story, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
